FORGED CLOSED SWAGE SOCKET
- The socket is made of carbon steel bar stock, its hardness is controlled by heat treatment spheroidal annealing.

Notes:
• Swage socket is recommended for use with 6x19, 6x25, 6x29 or 6x37 wire rope with tensile strenght grade from 1670 to 1960 Mpa.
• Before using other type or other higher grade of wire rope, it is recommended that the termination shall be tested the breaking load to prove the adequacy of assembly.
• Conforming to ASME B30.9 all slings with swage sockets shall be tested for proof load, and the maximum proof load shall not exceed 50% of the theoretical breaking load of the steel wire rope with grade 1960 MPa.
